The 51st Annual Convocation of the BASL was held on 29th March 2025 at the BMICH.
Hon. Murdu Fernando PC, the Chief Justice was the Chief Guest. Hon. Harshana Nanayakkara, Minister of Justice, Hon. Parinda Ranasinghe PC Attorney General, Hon. Laffar Thahir, Acting President Court of Appeal and Hon. Viraj Dayaratne PC, Solicitor General also graced the occasion. The 1st Bar Council meeting of the BASL for the year 2025/26 was held on 29th March 2025 at the Main Hall of the BMICH.

A Remembrance Ceremony was organised and held on Saturday, 22nd February 2025 at the BASL Auditorium to pay tribute to the members of the association who had passed away during the period February 2024 to January 2025.
