The 1st Bar Council meeting of the BASL for the year 2025/26 was held on 29th March 2025 at the Main Hall of the BMICH.
Hon. Parinda Ranasighe PC, the Attorney General presided at the meeting. Hon Solicitor General announced the names of the President and Secretary for the year 2025/26.
The Deputy President, Treasurer, 23 Zonal Vice Presidents and 13 other Ex-Co members were elected at the meeting.
